Most of the people have different kind of allergies.There are allergies due to dander of the animals, allergies in specific drugs or substances such as aspirin,also,there are people that are allergic to foods like nuts, chocolate and prawns.In addition, allergies called seasonal appear in a specific season of the year(i.e.springtime) and are caused by pollen of  flowers.

The one thing that all these allergies have in common is that there is no cure for any of them.So people that suffer from them use  antihistamines and decongestants.

75% of Americans are allergic to pollen from the flowers.Doctors recommend decongestants  or antihistamines to treat the symptoms and feel relieved.

15% of Americans suffer from allergies to cats and/or dogs. There are ways to be relieved from the symptoms.Keep animals away from your bed or any furniture since dander (the actual allergen from the skin of animals) can be transferred this way. Room purifiers will help get rid of the airborne dander. Linoleum, ceramic tile or wood flooring are best in a home with an allergy or asthma sufferer.You can also wash your pets with a formulated shampoo especially for dander.

A big percentage of people suffer from food allergies.This kind of allergies could be lethal and the symptoms range from tingling in the mouth to swelling of the tongue and throat to more severe reactions.

There are also people that are allergic to the sting of a bee or a hornet.This kind of allergy could be very dangerous because it can cause allergic sock and then lead to death.So you should always have an adrenaline injection with you so that you can earn some time until you go to the emergency room.

Skin allergies, or contact dermatitis is also a different kind of allergy and is generally avoided by being away from the allergen. Contact dermatitis can be caused by many different things and can be related to seasonal pollen allergy, animal allergy or food allergies. Most outbreaks of contact dermatitis result in skin outbreaks and hives which can be treated with antihistamines and topical creams.
